CalWORKs Work Study Program Overview
The CalWORKs Work Study Program is an opportunity to hire work study students with 75% of the student's wage paid by the CalWORKs program and the remaining 25% paid by Federal Work Study or the hiring department/organization.
For students receiving Federal Work Study, this allows a student's federal grant to receive minimal use, essentially stretching the grant so that it typically lasts throughout the fiscal year.
