Teaching and Learning Support Center (TLSC)

Welcome to the Teaching and Learning Support Center (TLSC). The TLSC is located in the Learning Resource Center (LRC).  We offer many services to help you succeed, including:

  • Free academic support for nearly all classes offered at BCC
  • Open computer lab usage along with printing and scanning
  • Faculty-led academic workshops to help you achieve success in your courses
  • Study groups
  • Live online and in-person tutoring
  • Free typing certification for all students and community members
  • Homework help for children in 6th – 12th grade
  • Basic technical assistance with Single Sign-On Portal, Canvas Courses, Office 365 products such as Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, Excel, and much more

It is our mission to provide quality instructional support for students through peer tutoring services by providing a supportive and encouraging learning environment where students learn effective study skill techniques, become active participants in their learning process, and develop a positive approach toward learning that will facilitate the achievement of their academic goals.

Should you feel that you need to come to the college to learn in person or use our Learning Support Services, please do not hesitate to come to one of our computer labs. All open lab hours are listed on the left.
