Faculty Reporting Resources

Student Conduct

Barstow Community College students are expected at all times to act in a manner consistent with BCC’s student academic integrity code and student behavior code of conduct. Both the student academic integrity code and behavior code of conduct are set forth in the student handbook. The student handbook is available to all students and is also available online.

This form is to submit an alleged behavioral violation by an individual of the Student Code of Conduct (i.e., alcohol, disorderly conduct, drugs, failure to comply, theft, vandalism, weapons, violent acts or threats of violence, etc.).

Academic Integrity

(Faculty Only)

In accordance with BCC Student Conduct Procedures (BP 5500), academic dishonesty cases that occur in the classroom shall be handled by faculty members first.

However, after faculty initial action has been taken, the faculty member shall complete this report to identify the student who is found responsible, the general nature of the offense, the action taken, and a recommendation as to whether or not additional administrative action is needed. The completed report is then sent by the faculty member to the Office of Student Life and Conduct.

PIVOT

(Promoting Inclusion, Voice, Opportunities, and Thriving)

Outreach and referrals to appropriate resources for students in need of assistance outside of the classroom and their coursework (i.e., absences due to medical reasons or extenuating circumstances, reports of mental health concerns, basic needs access, suicide ideation, and other issues of general concern).

If you have a concern please fill out the PIVOT Form.

If you are experiencing a mental health or emotional crisis, you can call or text 988 to reach the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline for confidential support.

If this is an emergency, or you need immediate assistance, please call 9-1-1
