Are you an instructor interested in having an embedded tutor in your course?
Embedded tutoring places a tutor or faculty tutor directly in your class to support both students and instructors. The tutor may attend class sessions, assist with clarifying difficult concepts, and provide targeted, course-specific academic support. Having an embedded tutor can be highly beneficial--it helps create a more comfortable and engaging learning environment, encourages participation, and improves overall student understanding and retention. Instructors often find that this collaboration enhances classroom dynamics and allows them to focus more on teaching while knowing students are receiving additional support. Requests will be prioritized based on highest need (AB 1705-impacted and historically low-success courses), but we will do our best to accommodate all requests.
