The CARE Program is geared for EOPS students who are single parents receiving CalWORKs/cash aid and have one or more children in the household. The aim of CARE is to assist students to increase their educational skills, enhance their employability, become more confident and self-sufficient, and encourage success with the transition from cash aid to financial independence.
Services: meal vouchers, book vouchers, child care, transportation assistance, counseling services, and school supplies
Eligibility: Students must be eligible for EOPS and be a single parent, head of household, has a child and received CalWORKs/Cash Aid.
To apply for CARE, you must be approved for EOPS first. Please complete the Special Programs & Services Application and EOPS/CARE Mutual Responsibility Contract and Intake Form below. You will need to provide a Passport to Services from your County Worker or fill out the Untaxed Income Form below.
