Foster & Kinship Care Education Program (FKCE)

The Barstow College Foster & Kinship Care Education Program provides quality education and support services to foster/kinship families.
The FKCE program provides quality education and support opportunites for caregivers of children and youth in out-of-home care so that these providers may meet their educational, emotional, behavioral and developmental needs. These services are open to the public at no cost.

Barstow’s FKCE Program runs from Mid-August to mid-week of June. We do not offer classes the last two weeks of December and the first week of January. When scheduling classes please keep in mind that we are dark for the entire month of July.
