ASG Responsibilities

  • Must be enrolled in 5 units or more each semester at BCC
  • Maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA each semester
  • Maintain a cumulative 2.0 GPA (or higher)
  • Paid Student Activity Fee

All members of the ASG Legislature, which consists of the members of the Executive Board and Senators, are required to fulfill their duties as specified in the ASG Constitution, Bylaws, and the ASG Handbook. All members must serve as a committee representative on a BCC Shared Governance Committee. Each week, four (4) hours must be served in the ASG office to conduct ASG business. ASG Legislature members must also attend bi-monthly legislature meetings. Executive members must chair a minimum of two (2) events each year to be determined through the consensus of the Executive Board; assist in the creation of the Master Calendar of Events for the year and will be responsible for any official ASG business during the summer session.
