You’re invited to join us for an evening of Maara’yam (Serrano) culture and history from the Yuhaaviatam of San Manuel Nation. Connections of the Maara’yam to their vast ancestral territory demonstrate how these ties continue to shape their identity, stewardship, and meaningful Joseph “Joe” Maarango is the Culture Seat Member of the Yuhaaviatam Tribal Council of San Manuel. He serves to promote Tribal culture, history, language, and traditions. connections to Barstow and the High Desert region.
