My favorite presentation Anissa gave that will always resonate with me is her emphasizing- don't wait for a seat at the table, pull up your own. That it's ok if your seat doesn't look or operate like others, but own your seat, your voice, and your power. As we move forward, I hope we channel these same qualities in her honor.
