I shared an office space with Anissa for two years and I will never forget the memories we had. She played the most diverse type of music, and it would keep me going. We also talked about 80s movies and the Caribbean (Our parents both came from neighboring countries in Central American). I will never forget how hard she worked and how she really wanted equity to be meaningful and authentic. This is something that I always supported her with, and she thrived with the events that she hosted. I will never forget the passion she brought and I hope that I will do my best to continue that work. Gracias por todo Anissa.
