Barstow, CA – This will be the first opportunity for fans to see the 2015-16 Vikings Men’s Basketball team before the regular season begins in November. The Pre-Season game between the Fort Irwin Warriors and the Barstow Community College (BCC) Vikings will start at 7:00 PM on Saturday, September 26th. The college will host the game in the Parks Gymnasium on the BCC Campus. There will be no charge for admission.
Head Coach, Gerry Wright, is entering his second season as Commander in Chief of the Vikings Men’s Basketball Squad. Wright, a former United States Navy Officer, is extremely excited about the opportunity for his team to compete with the Army’s Fort Irwin Warriors. Vikings fans are looking forward to their second year with a pair of Six Foot Six Sophomores, Ramiro Martinez and Eduardo Gomez from Spain, who will lead the way for the Vikings as they begin a much anticipated 2015-2016 season!!!
On November 5th the BCC Vikings Men’s Basketball Team will kick-off their regular season in San Diego by participating in the Miramar College Tournament. More information about the Vikings’ basketball season will be available on the college website: www.barstow.edu
