Barstow, CA – The opening reception of the Spring Semester Student Art Show is at 5pm on April 22 in the LRC Lobby. There will be music and refreshments. Work from students in Sculpture, Ceramics, Painting and Photography will be on display, including a ceramic mural with a desert theme and also welded sculptures.
Students and faculty have worked all semester to create original works of art specifically for this event. “We have newly discovered talent, and some very accomplished artists that are exhibiting this year.” said, Professor Lewis Goldstein, Curator of the show. Everyone in the community of Barstow and the surrounding area is invited to visit our campus and walk through the show. The art will be on display in the lobby of the LRC from April 22nd through May 13th.
