Barstow, CA – Barstow Community College (BCC) will be holding the Opening Reception of the Fall Student Art Show on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at 5:30 PM. Light refreshments will be served and live music will be enjoyed by all who attend. Students, Alumni, Barstow Residents, and visitors just passing through town, are all invited to attend this free Art Show. The exhibits will be on display in the lobby of BCC’s Learning Resource Center (LRC) from November 15 to December 2, 2017. Patrons can visit the lobby, and see the artwork on display, from 8:00 AM until 6:00 PM, Monday through Thursday, and from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Fridays.
Artists from the college and the surrounding communities will be displaying their paintings and drawings, pottery and sculptures, figurines, models and photography, during this special exhibition. BCC Art Professor, Lewis Goldstein, is the curator/organizer of this biannual, cultural event at the college. Open registration for all interested community members, 18 years of age and older, will begin on December 6, 2017. Classes start on January 8, 2018.
