MMIW Awareness Station

Every year, thousands of Indigenous women, girls, and Two-Spirit relatives go missing or are murdered across North America. Many of these cases remain unsolved or under-investigated, a reflection of ongoing injustice, colonization, and invisibility of Indigenous voices. This installation honors their lives, uplifts awareness, and invites our community to take action toward safety and justice. The red hand is a powerful symbol used to represent the stolen voices of Indigenous women who are no longer with us. By adding your hand to this display, you join a movement calling for truth, healing, and protection.
