FKCE Advisory Meeting

An FKCE Advisory Meeting is a collaborative gathering held by the Foster and Kinship Care Education (FKCE) Program, typically through California Community Colleges, to ensure the program is effectively meeting the needs of resource families such as foster, kinship, and adoptive caregivers. These meetings bring together key stakeholders—including FKCE coordinators, caregivers, county child welfare staff, community-based organizations, educators, and other professionals involved in child welfare—to provide input, guidance, and feedback on the development and improvement of caregiver training.
