Annual Statewide Financial Aid Workshop

The Annual Statewide Financial Aid Workshop series is a partnership effort between the California Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (CASFAA), the California Community Colleges Student Financial Aid Administrators Association (CCCSFAAA) and the California Student Aid Commission (CSAC). Our workshops offer high school counselors, student advocates, college outreach coordinators and community partners the opportunity to attend a free half-day training to obtain relevant financial aid information they can use to support their students.

The topics have already been developed and will include a review of the FAFSA (Application for Federal Student Aid), updated California Dream Act Application (CADAA), as well as information and updates on Cal Grant programs, new aid programs, and programs and opportunities that support undocumented students, mixed status students and former or current foster youth.
