Patty Negrette

Patty Negrette is a lifelong resident of Barstow and a proud alumna of Barstow Community College, where she earned her Associate of Arts degree in Business Administration, graduating magna cum laude.

Patty serves as Senior Program Manager for EXP, The Opportunity Engine, where she connects high school students with real-world experiences that inspire their college and career goals. Through internships, mentorships, scholarships, guest speaker sessions, workplace tours, career fairs, and college visits, she helps students unlock their potential and pursue meaningful futures. She has proudly worked with Barstow High School students for nearly 12 years and Central High students for the past 3 years.

In 2025, Patty joined the Barstow College Foundation Board, continuing her deep commitment to education and community service. Over the years, she has been actively involved with numerous local organizations, including the Boys and Girls Club of Barstow, Soroptimist International, Child’s Play Productions, the Barstow Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors, Chief Advisory Board, and the Kiwanis Club of Barstow Crossroads.

Deeply rooted in her community, Patty finds joy in giving back and helping others succeed. She and her husband, Paul, are proud parents of three grown children and cherish spending time with their three wonderful grandchildren.
