Kimberly Silva

Kimberly Silva is a lifelong resident of Barstow, a proud graduate of Barstow Community College (BCC), and the Secretary of the Barstow College Foundation Board of Directors. She has served on the Board since 2020 and assumed the role of Secretary in July 2023, bringing both her professional expertise and deep community roots to the foundation.

Her commitment to education and community development began at BCC, where she earned an Associate of Arts in Social Science in 1998. She continued her education at Park University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Social Psychology in 2000. Today, Kimberly and her husband, Tim, operate two local businesses in Barstow: GEM Mortgage and Route 66 Guns & Ammo.

Kimberly and Tim are proud parents to two children, Taylor and Tristen, with Tristen following in his mother's footsteps to also graduate from BCC. Deeply passionate about Barstow's continued growth, Kimberly considers the college to be one of the city’s greatest assets. Through her service on the Board, she is dedicated to supporting the college’s mission and expanding opportunities for both students and the local community.
