Jeff Malan

Mr. Malan was approved as a Barstow College Foundation Board Member on February 24, 2026. He was previously an employee of the Barstow Unified School District for 33 years, serving in the roles of Teacher, Assistant Principal, Principal, Director of Technology & Information Services, Assistant Superintendent of Personnel Services, and Superintendent.

Mr. Malan is active in state and county-wide educational leadership. He has served as the President of the BEST NET Executive Committee, an Inland Personnel Council Advisory Member, a Barstow Community Hospital Board Member, and a Mojave Valley United Way Board Member. He continues to be active in statewide educational leadership while also serving in local organizations such as the Barstow Optimist Club.

Mr. Malan holds a bachelor's degree from Western New Mexico University and his master's degree from California State University, San Bernardino.
