Dave Mylander

Moved to Barstow from Ohio in 1966 and have lived here ever since. Graduated from Kennedy  High School in 1970, and Barstow College in 1972 with an AS degree and went on to CSULA graduating in 1975 and 1978 with degrees in Biophysics/ Physics. Spent time working and doing research in the Neuro-physiology lab at Cal Tech. Taught and helped many thousands of students in both lecture and lab classes at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona from spring 1979 until retiring in 2017. Was the first Physics instructor at Cal Poly to have 100+ students in lecture classes. While there  wrote many letters of recommendation for  scholarships and graduate schools so that students may continue their education, in their chosen field.

To help pay for college worked amusements at Calico Ghost Town starting in 1971. Became amusements manager   in 1979 until 1994. Owned the R & D Company Store at Calico from 1982 until 1994.

Enjoy serving on the foundation board , I like being to help support present and future students so that they can persue their education and goals.
