A resident of the High Desert for more than two decades, Antone Andrews brings over 30 years of technical education and workforce development experience to the Barstow College Foundation. He currently serves as a Technical Training Project Manager for an aerospace and defense contractor, where he leads workforce development initiatives including a registered apprenticeship program that broadens employee career opportunities.
Antone’s background spans submarine nuclear reactor systems, precision semiconductor tooling, and unmanned aircraft systems, giving him a broad view of the skills needed in today’s economy. A recognized voice in autonomous systems education, he contributes to training standards development, community college advisory committees, and school district collaboratives to better align education with industry needs.
Committed to helping students discover and pursue career paths, Antone supports multiple pathways to success, including industry outreach, educator externships, and student internships. He is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems and Technology with a Cybersecurity concentration at California State University, San Bernardino.
