Alysha Paulino is a proud alumna of Barstow Community College and a former Student Trustee who has remained deeply committed to advancing educational opportunity and equity within the community. During her time at the college, Alysha was actively engaged in student advocacy. Alysha later earned a Master’s Degree in Social Work, further strengthening her dedication to service and community empowerment. Her professional work centers on supporting individuals and families within the community while also collaborating closely with the Barstow College Foundation and Barstow Community College to ensure that students, especially those who are justice-impacted or involved with the justice system, have access to the same educational opportunities, resources, and support systems needed to succeed.
Alysha’s journey reflects the impact of BCF's mission. Like many students supported by the Foundation, she understands firsthand how access to resources and encouragement can transform a student’s path. Her continued work in the community demonstrates her commitment to giving back and helping ensure that future students have the support they need to pursue their goals.
