English (ADT)

The Associate in Arts in English for Transfer Degree (AA-T) will help prepare students for transfer to a 4 year institution by developing strong writing and re-visioning skills, research skills, critical thinking and problem solving skills, discussions skills, and the overall ability to organize, and analyze and present ideas. In addition, the skills and abilities cultivated by
the study of English are excellent preparation for any field which requires wide literacy and solid writing ability, including teaching/education, advertising, law, public relations, and work in print and electronic media.
