... by interacting with my teachers and classmates over educational issues; issues that will be beneficial to all now and in even into the future….There was one particular activity we carried out in the Microbiology class with Dr. Stinson. It was called "EPIDEMIC SIMULATION". The lesson was about pinpointing, or better still, tracing the source where a disease originates from. It was amazing to see how disease spreads through even simple contact with each other. I will definitely carry this activity along beyond the scope of the class and into my life and blend it into my career as a nurse. Even across the European continent and into Africa so that my knowledge can be used as a positive tool to control and also help restrict the spread of diseases ... through the power of communication.
