I now know how to learn…

…I graduated from high school when I was sixteen and the transition to college was a real challenge for me. The process itself was very intimidating …and I was so shy …then I took a speech class and I started to come out of my shell. I saw that Callboard, the college theater group, was having auditions for Cinderella and I saw my chance to try something I have never done before…to face my fears head on. I got the lead…which led to other roles, in other plays here on campus, and helped me mature. What have I learned? I now know how to learn. I have learned to apply what I learn…I have learned to try new things and seek out the help of faculty and others who can help me reach my goals.
