Barstow Community College Board of Trustees Reorganizes for 2007

Barstow, Calif. – January 3, 2007 The Board of Trustees of Barstow Community College reorganized for the start of the third term, beginning January, 2007. The unanimous vote took place at their December board meeting, held on December 14 in accordance with Board Policy (BP) 2305.

Trustee Fernando Baca was re-elected to remain president of the Board of Trustees, as well as Phillip Harris to remain as the Board’s vice president. Trustee Tim Heiden was elected to serve as secretary, Trustee Ted Baca was elected to serve as County representative and Trustee Marcia Zableckis was elected to serve as Barstow Community College Foundation representative.

In addition, the Board of Trustees voted to hold their regular monthly meeting on the second Thursday of each month at 7 p.m. in the Board room located on the main campus. The exception to these meetings will be the January, 2007 meeting that will be held on January 18; the April, 2007 meeting will held on April 19; and the July, 2007 meeting will be held on July 19.

The Board of Trustees of Barstow Community College District are elected to office by the members of the District to serve a four-year term and serve the District’s mission.
