California Uniform Public Construction Cost Accounting Act (CUPCCAA)
Effective October 15, 2021, Barstow Community College District Board of Trustees adopted the California Uniform Public Construction Cost Accounting Act (Public Contract Code, section 22030, et seq.)
- Invitation to Contractors
In accordance with CUPCCAA, the District shall maintain a list of qualified contractors identified according to specific categories of work.
The District invites all licensed contractors to submit their information and qualifications for inclusion on the District’s list of qualified contractors. Notice to contractors for informal bids on public works projects from $60,000 to $200,000 will be sent via email from the qualified contractors list.
- How to Join the Qualified Contractors List
Contractors must submit a CUPCCAA Pre-Qualification Form to be included on the District’s list of qualified CUPCCAA contractors.
- Complete the CUPCCAA Pre-Qualification Form: CUPCCAA Application
- Email the completed form to: Facilities-Construction@barstow.edu
Additionally: Pursuant to SB 854, no contractor or subcontractor may be listed on a bid or awarded a contract for a public works project unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) per California Labor Code section 1725.5.
