| The ASB government structure of the association is vested in the ASB President, ASB Vice-President, Executive Secretary, Treasurer, and the Senate Assembly containing a possible total of twelve (12) senators and one (1) CalSACC (California Student Association of Community College)or Region 9 representative.
All students are encouraged to participate in ASB affairs and run for an elected position with the organization. Candidates for an elective office must complete the required nominating petitions and meet the eligibility requirements before their candidacy is approved. Candidates must be enrolled in at least (5) semester units and shall meet and maintain a minimum grade point average of 2.00. Officers (Vice-President, Secretary, and Treasurer) are chosen by the elected ASB President, and must maintain a 2.50 grade point average. Along with the officers the President also must maintain the same GPA.
