Alpha Gamma Sigma is the official California Community College Scholastic Honor Society. The purpose of this organization is to foster, promote, maintain, and recognize scholarship; to recognize scholastic and academic achievement among Barstow Community College Students; and to provide students with opportunities to serve the college and the community.

Members receive recognition on transcripts, graduate with honors, scholarship opportunities, and can earn awards for community service.

General Information:

The Gamma Chi Chapter of Alpha Gamma Sigma will meet on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the Month at a place designated by the Current Executive Board.

To be a member of Alpha Gamma Sigma you must have completed 12 units within the last 2 semesters and have a GPA of 3.0.

We are a Scholarship and Community Service Organization
