Students are welcome to drop in the Tutorial Lab during our open hours.  Tutoring is only available on a walk-in basis.  We have tutors available for math and English during all our open hours.  Tutors for specialized subjects, i.e., sciences, are available at specific times.  Please click "Meet Our Tutors" for specific times for specialized subjects.

While we usually have tutors available for all subjects offered at Barstow Community College, tutors for some specialized subjects are not always available every semester.  If you do not see the subject listed that you need tutoring for, please contact the Tutorial Services Specialist and we will attempt to find one for you.

Please visit the Tutoring Center whenever you are struggling with an assignment.  We want to help you and you will get the most successful assistance in a face-to-face situation.   However, we understand that sometimes coming to the campus Tutoring Center is not possible.  If you live far away or you work during the day, then the online tutorial services will provide you with the help you need.  You must be enrolled in Education 150 to use any of these free services (you can use the link at the left side of the screen to enroll).
