Mr. Tim Heiden

 

Timothy Heiden is currently serving his third term as member of the Board of Trustees for the Barstow Community College District.  Trustee Heiden has experience in the K-12 environment as a school teacher for Barstow Unified School District.  He is currently a sergeant for Barstow Police Department.  Trustee Heiden holds a bachelor’s degree in liberal studies from the University of the State of New York and an associate’s degree in police science from the Madison Area Technical College in Wisconsin.

Active in the community, Trustee Heiden and his wife, Lynna, founded and coordinated the “Christmas, Cops and Kids” program in 1995.  He founded and implemented the local P.A.L. (Police Athletic League) program and the Robert A. Sessions Memorial Softball Tournament which benefits Barstow area children.
