FAFSA becomes available in the Financial Aid Office and on the web for the following school year.

March 1st

Priority deadline* for the Summer semester.

March 2nd

The Cal Grant deadline and the recommended date by which students should file their FAFSA or Renewal Application each year.

July 1st

Priority deadline* for the Fall semester.

November 1st

Priority deadline* for the Spring semester.

September 2nd

The Cal Grant deadline for community college students. Students must have filed a FAFSA for the current year and have at least 24 credits for Barstow Community College to electronically send in your application.

*Students who meet priority deadlines will be considered for the financial aid programs with limited funds—Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG) and Federal Work Study (FWS).

In order to meet the deadline the FAFSA must be processed and received by the Financial Aid Office along with all other required documents.
