Application Process

Eligibility

To be eligible for the CalWORKs program you must:

• Be a resident of the state of California
• Be a CalWORKs participant receiving CalWORKs/Cash Aid for yourself, and not just your children.

Application

The entire CalWORKs application is available online, or you can pick it up by visiting our office.  A complete packet will contain the following:

1. CalWORKs Application
2. Contractual Agreement Form
3. Release of Information Form
4. Memo to Service Provider from your County Worker
5. Current Notice of Action (proof of cash aid)
6. Current Class Schedule
7. Work Availability Worksheet
