Steps to Applying
1.         Complete a Barstow College Admissions Application
Barstow college admission application can be completed online at cccapply.com. If you have difficulty completing the application visit the Admissions office and get assistance from our friendly, trained Admissions staff.

2.         Take the Accuplacer Assessment Test
Contact the BCC testing office at (760) 252-2411 ext.7288 to schedule an appointment or to confirm testing hours. On your exam day, please be sure to bring a valid picture ID and pen/pencil for the exam.

3.         Apply for Financial Aid
Submit a Free Application for Federal Student Aid(FAFSA). The FAFSA Application can be completed online. If you have difficulty completing the process, come by the Financial Aid office and get assistance.

4.       Submit a complete CalWORKs packet
The entire CalWORKs packet is available online or the packet can be obtained by visiting the CalWORKs office.

A complete packet will contain the following materials.

• CalWORKs Application
• Contractual Agreement Form
• Release of Information Form
• Proof of CalWORKs/Cash aid
  • e.g. Current Notice of Action(attained from your eligibility worker)
• Current Class Schedule
• Welfare to Work Plan(attained from your eligibility worker)
• Resumé
• Work Availability Worksheet
