All students must pay enrollment fees of $20 per unit. Non-resident
students must also pay non-resident tuition of $148 per unit in
addition to the enrollment fee of $20 per unit. Fees are subject
to change by the State without notice. Eligible students may qualify
for a waiver of their enrollment fees (BOG
Waivers). Dependents of service connected disabled or deceased
veterans may be eligible for a waiver of fees and should contact
financial aid. Nevada residents may qualify for reduced tuition
of $42 per unit under the Good Neighbor agreement, which is available
from Admissions.
Fees other than enrollment fees are also assessed at registration.
The student representation fee of $1 and ASB card fee of $5 are
assessed at the time of enrollment but may be waived. The student representation fee funds are
used for any purpose related to representing students' views with
government bodies. The ASB card entitles the student to receive
free or reduced admission to college events, a 10% discount at the
Viking Shop and discounts from various other businesses. A fee of $15 per
unit for auditing a class is waived if the student is enrolled in
6 units or more. Community Service fees are also assessed and are
variable.
In certain circumstances students may be assessed other fees. A
fee of $5 is charged to replace a student ID. A returned check fee
is charged for personal checks returned for non-sufficient funds.
Some classes require a fee for instructional materials, testing
or other purposes. These fees are variable and any fees of this
type are noted under the appropriate class listing.
