Barstow College policy is that, unless specifically exempted by statute, every course shall be fully open to enrollment and participation by anyone who has been admitted to the college and who meets such prerequisites and corequisites as may be established pursuant to Title V of the California Administrative Code.

Distance students wanting to take an English, Math, or Reading course should review our online orientation and pay particular attention to page 3 or 11 in the Matriculation Process.

Distance students wanting courses showing a prerequisite require the completion of a form from Admissions and Records, Online Forms, Prerequisite Validation Registration Form (pdf).
